Autar Lights creates lighting designs inspired by the way homes actually look now — flatter ceilings, warmer rooms, fittings that are meant to be seen. You can buy a single piece or light a whole floor from one range, and the pieces will match.
Underneath the design, the priorities are ordinary and unglamorous: a driver that survives a bad feeder line, a heat sink big enough for the chip, and a housing that is still sealed after two monsoons. That is where the money in an Autar fitting goes.

What we build for
Four things every Autar fitting has to be.

Durability
The heat sink is the part that decides how long an LED lamp lives. Ours are aluminium, sized for the driver they sit on, which is why the range runs from 0.5W to 50W on the same B22 cap without cooking itself.

Safety standards
Fittings are made and checked against the standards they have to meet before they leave the unit. Flood and street lights get sealed housings and toughened glass because they live outdoors for years.

Easy to clean
Smooth, sealed surfaces on the lamps and battens, wipe-down blades on the fans. In a country where dust is the main cause of a fitting going dim, that matters more than another feature.

Current technology
Tricolour battens, edge-lit Prime downlighters, 400 RPM fan motors. We add a technology when it changes what the product does, not when it changes what the box says.

- What wattages of LED bulb does Autar make?
- The LED lamp range runs 0.5W (Jugnu), 9W and 12W (Glow) and 50W (Max Glow), all on a B22 bayonet cap. Downlighters are 7W and 9W, battens are 10W, 20W and 22W.
- Does Autar make outdoor lighting?
- Yes. Flood lights in 30W, 50W and 100W, and pole-mount street lights in 30W, 50W and 70W, all in sealed die-cast housings.
- Which fans does Autar make?
- 1200mm ceiling fans — Racer at 380 RPM and Nidan Gold at 400 RPM — plus four all-purpose high-speed table fans and three pedestal stand fans.
